Here at the USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program-Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project, delivery is in the details. Each month, we procure hundreds of different health commodities for more than 40 countries. And in more than 30 countries, we work directly with national governments to strengthen their domestic supply chains and help ensure those commodities get to those who need them most. From pharmaceutical factory to health post, each individual order gets processed by multiple teams, and is carefully tracked and monitored against benchmarks.
Each quarter, we also step back from the myriad details of thousands of ongoing orders to look at the bigger picture.
